Welcome welcome....well lets see if I can be a bit more witty today than yesterday... Although be forewarned that I have quickly lost my mind today.!!!  First, let me say a great big thank you to Strange Skin for being our sponsor today.  Somewhere on someones 31 day post today there is a hidden chance to win some awesome digis from this wonderful company so be sure to check out everyone listed on the sidebar!!!  Secondly, today I am double dipping on some projects, not only is this a creation for the 31 days of Halloween but it is also a creation for the very first challenge for The Hodgepodge Shop, of which I am a DT member!!!  The image I have used is from the HodgePodgeShop and is called Halloween Pumpkin stack!  I totally love this image.  I decided to make a monochromatic project.  Using black and white, of course I never follow rules, so i chose to focus on the (chrom) part of the word and had to add a little sumptin sumptin to it!  I hope you enjoy and please head on over to the Hodpodgeshop blog to see more creations by this wonderful new DT!

What do you think?  Remember to leave comments so you can win some wicked sweet prizes and if you need those rules and regs. they are in the tab on top of the page!!!

Day 6...Till Death Do Us Part!!!

Have you ever sat down at the computer knowing exactly what you want your post to say and then as soon as you start typing it either dissapears from your mind, or the more you look at it the more it makes you sound as if you have no brain at all????  Well that has happened now folks... I have no idea where my whitty post went, I just know it is no longer in my head and it is def. not on the computer!!!  Sorry! Ok so by now you all know that the only scrapbooking I do is digital.  Well I made this lovely scrapbook page for the Smeared and Smudged Sketch challenge this month.  I think it turned out cool!  I used lots of digi elements and papers and stamps from my time on the digiscraps3 dt, that was loads of fun!!!  I found the bride and groom by searching for free vintage halloween clip art.  There is some really cool stuff out there.  Go see what you can find.  For 31 days rules and regs click on the tab above and remember to go off and visit everyone else listed on the sidebar!!!!  OH and if you find my mind, please return it!!

Day 5.....Frank's Bride

Hello lovelies, I wanted say thanks for the well wishes on a better week!!!!  Today I bring you an image I received from a company called Strange Skin.  They are so freakin awesome it unbelieveable!!!!  I am so happy our lovely Ms. Alison introduced us to them, or them to us, whichever way it goes, I am just glad that I know them now!!!  They are sponsoring our Very Sketchy challenges this month over on Smeared and Smudged!  The DT for S&S were luckey enough to receive a digi from this wonderful company and I just so happened to get this Bride of Frankenstine.  I totally am in love with her!!! I wanted to do shades of green so I guess now she is a zombie bride of frankenstine, but I think this was she just turned Frank into her bitch!! (yeah, I said it)! So what do you think:
Ribbon look familiar? It's from Sunday's project!!  Gotta use those left overs!!!
Close up of the "barbed wire" I made.
Close up.

I printed her out on Very Vanilla card stock from SU.  Then colored her with my copics: YG11,YG41,YG03, and BG93.  The base of the card is Basic Gray card stock from SU.  The ribbon is left over from day 3's project and the "Barbed wire is a length of leather string, with smaller lengths of the same string tied to it!

For rules and regulations please click on the tab at the top of my page.  The complete hop list is on my sidebar.  I'll be looking for you tomorrow!!!!

Day 4.... Grumpies in timeout!

Hello my lovelies. First off, I am sorry this is going to be short and to the point, it has been a well grumbly weekend!!!  Secondly: This project came about while my children and I were grumbling to each other this weekend!  I had this little shadow box, again from the $ store, and as you all know grumpies are my favs!!!  OK OK one of my favs!  Anyway, during our grumble I just wanted to pick them up by the scruff of their necks and put them somewhere where all they had to do was be quiet and look pretty, needless to say that didn't happen!!!!!  So I made it happen with the grumpies.  Sorry I only have the one pic today all the rest were to blurry to be any good so when it lightens up outside I will get more!!!

Now remember for rules and regs. click on the tab above. The complete list for the hop is on my side bar!  Have a great day!!Thirdly: I hope to see you tomorrow for a more involved post.

Day 3... Let's get Ballsy

LOL!!! I hope the title got your attention!  OK OK so you know those decorative balls you can buy, the ones that cost like umpteen thousand dollars!!  Well I made my own, with some $ store styrofoam balls and some ribbon that I had in my ribbon jar!  I am by no means saying that I don't spend the pretty penny for the decorative things, I just like to see how much I can save by making my own(and now that I know how to make them and how much I can save, you can bet your pretty penny I will be making more!!!). I took my ribbon and stamped images from Inkadinkado on 2 of the colors.  I then cut the ribbon into lengths that would fit around the ball meeting in the middle.  Then using straight pins, I pinned the ribbons on alternating colors.  That is what I love the most about them, I can change them with the seasons to coordinate with the color of candles I am using, or whatever else I get a fancy for!

What do you think of my balls!!!

Now remember to win the awesome prizes you need to comment on every participants blog everyday this month!!  To read all the rules and regulations, and find the prizes click on the tab at the top of the page.

31 Days of Halloween... Day 1 Tricky scrapping!

Welcome to the biggest, baddest, creepiest Halloween stamping event on the web!
(Or at least we'd like to think so!)

31 Days of Halloween started last year with two like-minded stampers, myself and Terra, who vowed to make and share one Halloween or Day of The Dead stamped project for each day in October. We had a huge response from others who enjoyed it just as much as we did. So this year, we are going even bigger! So we offered it up to anyone who read our blogs to either become a blogger or a blog hopper!  I am so excited to see so many people participating.  There is a list on my right hand side bar, that will remain for the duration! For the full set of rules on how to win these awesome prizes click on the tab that say 31 Days of Halloween 2010 right up above!

So as most of you know I am not a scrapper normally, at least not with anything that isn't digital!!!  BUT I had to make this scrapbook!  I am forever going to Goodwill or a thrift store just looking for something I can make into something else or something I can use on a project.  One day while perusing the shelves of my local goodwill I came across this 6x6 square of scrapbook paper, or so I thought, it was all tied up with string and looked cute. Well I untied the string to see what all of the papers looked like and to my surprise is was a fold out scrapbook!  I thought to myself, well hell Kelli you can make that, so I put it back on the shelf and came home and made one for myself!!!
So what do you think?  I am thinking that since I am not a scrapper this will go to one lucky commenter for today's post. Now off you go to see what others have made and remember that the list is on the side bar, but to get you started at the beginning if you started here, please head on over to Terra's blog!
